Pyrolytic Gasification

SectorFive Technologies is commercializing the SectorFive BioGas System.

This pyrolytic gasification system utilizes a form of incineration that chemically decomposes organic materials by heat in the absence of oxygen. Feedstocks include seed corn, wood shavings, shredded tires and shredded plastics. These materials are transformed into a synthetic gas suitable for industrial and commercial use to fuel boilers, furnaces and electrical generators.

Large industrial and commercial companies with significant natural gas and electricity usage can purchase a SectorFive BioGas System and become energy self-reliant. Significant federal and state renewable fuel production tax credits and investment tax credits may be available to qualifying companies.

The first commercial-scale system is being fabricated and installed at SectorFive's manufacturing facility at this time and will be available for demonstration beginning in December 2010. More than a prototype, this system will be employed to produce energy for use in the 161 thousand square foot plant.
